Ekinops, an optical networking company based in Lannion, France, with a newly opened customer support center in Dallas, will be exhibiting at NXTcomm, and intends to bring news of a major new North American customer, according to a company spokesman.

The company has multiservice aggregation platforms that use advanced time division multiplexing technology to address DWDM, CWDM, Gigabit Ethernet over Sonet and other applications. Ekinops also will be talking about its strategic direction, and how to attain fiber transmission distance without repeaters or inline amplifiers.
