NXTcomm exhibitor TPACK has named several new members to its executive management team and the board of directors.

The existing management team with Peter Viereck as CEO and John Jorgensen as vice president of sales and business development have been joined by Lars A. Pedersen as chief technology officer; Hartvig Ekner as vice president of R&D; and Thomas Rasmussen as vice president of product line management.

TPACK also strengthened its board of directors with the appointment of Gregg Borodaty as a new member of the board. Gregg is a veteran from the semiconductor industry, where he most recently served as vice president and general manager of Vitesse’s Network Products Division. Today Gregg is President of Aumnia, a start-up focusing on location based services for mobile devices.

Pedersen has recently joined TPACK from a senior management position in Tellabs. Ekner has worked at TPACK for several years to date. Rasmussen joins TPACK from a position as CTO at startup Tactio. Thomas has over 10 years experience in the telecommunications industry and has held several senior positions in both engineering and product management at Ibsen Photonics, ADC Telecommunications and DSC Communications.
