Telect (Booth 2851) is releasing a highly versatile GMT fuse panel that features universal operating voltage and a low-profile design to enable wall mounting in addition to fitting in standard equipment racks.

The 50A dual-feed 5/5-position panel, part of Telect’s comprehensive line of power distribution products, accommodates GMT fuses rated up to 15 amps each to handle power distribution to a variety of communications network equipment. The panel automatically operates at ±24 VDC or ±48 VDC based on where it’s installed, enabling power distribution and protection for a variety of local/remote central office, data center and cell tower communications equipment. Key features include: ±24 VDC and ±48 VDC for use with legacy and next-generation equipment; shallow panel depth, light weight and front access, which are ideal features for wall mounting; 15A fuse outputs to provide power protection and distribution to a variety of network elements; unique mounting bracket design to enable rack and wall-mounting with simple adjustment to brackets; and upside-down mounting of GMT fuse blocks to simplify identification of blown fuses. The panel provides total front access to inputs, outputs, alarms, LED indicators and fuses. Its small form factor—fewer than two inches in depth and just 1.75 inches in height—and a lightweight design make Telect's GMT fuse panel ideal for mounting to either front or rear rack flanges. Users simply reorient the existing mounting brackets to fully and easily install the panel on a wall.
